Bedfordshire and London-based Optimis continue to generate waves in the planning and development consultancy arena, through more prestigious awards and expansion. As part of their journey, they have been working to refresh and improve their marketing and communications materials.

Optimis is a work-hard, play-hard firm of professionals led by former RTPI Planning Consultant of The Year winner, Justin Wickersham. They seek to be both successful and different in their approach to client solutions and are proactively linked into the communities they work in.

Moving forward they wanted to build imagery that was a natural and honest reflection of them and what they did, so we had meetings with them and their designers on an image library plan that would encompass:

  • the team in their working environments
  • key industry voice
  • notable development sites/successes
  • natural portrait imagery
  • unique industry-sector activity stock images
  • Corporate Social Responsibility activities

Dovetailing with their busy diaries, to ensure the minimum disruption to the team, a range of photography opportunities were scheduled and we are a good way through with further elements to be scheduled over the coming months.

Core images will start being used in a new website design to be developed later in 2017 alongside revised brochures and marketing materials.

Update January 2018 – new website now live at
